The first consultation
At the first consultation you will discuss with your surgeon your goals and expectations about the procedure and what you would like to change on your face. The procedure
The procedure is performed using local anaesthesia and takes approximately 20 minutes. The APTOS fibre is inserted under the skin using a needle and by tightening the fibre, the skin is lifted immediately. The procedure leaves no stitches or scars only one small incision where the needle enters the skin.

After surgery
Even though there are no stitches to be removed after the procedure you still will need to meet your surgeon a week later for a check up. There is usually no significant discomfort after surgery, even if there is a slight discomfort it disappears after a few hours.
